DPJ presents 3 employment measure bills jointly with other opposition parties to re-establish a social safety net

On the morning of March 6, the DPJ, together with the other opposition parties, presented three bills on employment measures to the Lower House with the aim of re-establish a "safety net" in society as a whole.
The DPJ and the Social Democratic Party jointly presented the "bill for the partial revision in the laws for employment insurance and mariners insurance." Furthermore, together with the Social Democratic Party and the Kokumin Shinto (People's New Party), the DPJ also presented the "bill to support the capability development of job seekers and emergency measures to alleviate the economic burden of health insurance on people who have fired from their jobs" and the "bill for the partial revision in the labor contracts law for regulations such as on annulling unofficial promises for employment."(See downloads below)
