ニュース 2009/10/06 Ozawa meets with News Corp’s Murdoch On October 6, DPJ Secretary General Ichiro Ozawa received a courtesy call from News Corporation Chairman Rupert Murdoch at party headquarters, and exchanged opinions regarding Japanese politics and economics. The meeting was also attended by the Editor-in-Chief of the Wall Street Journal Robert Thomson. At the start of the meeting, Murdoch expressed his congratulations on the change of government and Ozawa expressed his resolution in return, saying, “A change of government has occurred in Japan in what are difficult times, but I believe that this is heaven’s will and will continue to do my best.”
