Mabuchi and Kaieda to run in DPJ presidential election

On the morning of December 25, the DPJ presidential election campaign officially started. Two members of the House of Representatives who run for the DPJ presidential seat are as follows:
Sumio Mabuchi
Member of the House of Representatives
Banri Kaieda
Member of the House of Representatives
The new party president will be elected in a meeting of party members of both houses from 2:00pm on the same day.
