Prime Minister Hatoyama gives policy speech to Diet

On January 29, Prime Minister and DPJ President Yukio Hatoyama gave his policy speech to the Diet. At the start of the speech, Hatoyama explained that he “wanted to protect lives” and to “create a society in which the children who will support our future are free to pursue their limitless potential.”
