On July 4, Administration Committee Chair Hideo Hiraoka received a courtesy call from the delegation of Vietnam led by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. The meeting was also attended by: Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Truong Hoa Binh, Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong, and other ministers, vice-ministers or department heads of government organizations from the Vietnamese side; and International Department Director-General Issei Tajima, International Department Vice Directors-General Seiichiro Dokyu and Motohiro Oono from the DPJ side. Both discussed frankly about the future of the two countries including the importance of party-to-party exchanges, and the meeting ended in a friendly mood.
