On October 30, the new line-up for the DPJ International Department was approved by the DPJ Standing Officers Council, details as follows:

- Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi, Chair of the Administration Committee, with overall responsibility for the Administration, International and Research Departments, Member of the House of Representatives (hereinafter referred to as the HR)
*Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi serves concurrently as Director-General of the International Department.
