Announcement of new commercials and poster for House of Representatives campaign

On the afternoon of November 26, Assistant Director General of the DPJ Election Campaign Headquarters Sumio Mabuchi held a press conference at party headquarters to introduce the new DPJ commercials and poster for the House of Representatives campaign. The three new commercials are titled “Recovering Missing Pensions,” “Restoring Medical Care” and “Free Tuition for Public High Schools.” Mabuchi said, “These commercials present the DPJ administration’s achievements over the past three years regarding issues that are closely linked to the lives of the people.”
The slogan of the new poster is “Making Decisions to Get Things Moving. Our Responsibilities for Now and the Future” (tentative translation). Mabuchi explained, “Although it is important to take the time to discuss things, we cannot postpone matters that require decisions. Even though the challenges we face are difficult and may leave public opinion divided, we need to take proactive steps to fulfill our responsibilities.”
